DEEP LISTENING WALK #6 : 26 SEPTember 2021

The Sixth and final River Echoes Deep Listening Walk will take place all day on Sunday 26th September to celebrate WORLD RIVERS DAY, and to coincide with Soundwalk September.

River Echoes is part of a collective investigation into Bristol’s waterways.

Tune in to a series of Live Streams from artist Kathy Hinde as she follows the River Frome from its source into the city of Bristol. Using hydrophones to access the usually inaudible soundworld of the river Frome, Kathy will pause for moment during her walk to live stream the sounds and images from her location.

Throughout the day, live streams will be published onto this page as Kathy walks the Frome… keep checking to stay up to date

The walk is part of a series of six Deep Listening walks that form an ongoing collective investigation into Bristol’s waterways leading towards a live event RIVER ECHOES.

Highlights from the series of Live Streams will be available to view and listen to again after the event.

River Echoes is a project by Kathy Hinde with producer Sam Francis, Commissioned by Ginkgo, and sponsored by Bouygues UK.
