Here are the results of the Water Surveys we carried out with Opal community Scientist Jo Dempster, plus some pictures of the field work in progress. These results have been entered into the UK wide citizen science survey here and our results will appear on the map soon. This data contributes to the research scientists are carrying out to look at the quality of water in ponds all around the UK. From our three surveys, the pond close to Hogganfield loch, which feeds into the Molendinar Burn, scored the highest for water biodiversity.
